WHAT IS STAR TREK: INFINITE RYVIUS?
Star Trek: Infinite Ryvius (Or ST:IR) Is a crossover fic, set in the Star Trek Universe, but based on the story of the japanese animation, Infinite Ryvius.
Set in the year 2389 (Fourteen years after the Dominion War) It mostly circles around a Starfleet Cadet named Daniel Wayneright. It takes place in the Brair Patch, or to be more specific, the Brair Sea, a dense lower layer to the Patch that few starships can withstand. in this year. Daniel, along with his brother, Kurt (Who by the way dispises him and vice versa), his childhood friend Amelia "Ami" Housen, and roommate Carlos Oze, have been assigned to Starbase Delta, a series of twenty-four Starbases dotted around Federation Space, run by the Academy in order to try and ease Cadets into a working enviroment by letting them run the stations, with a crew of two hundred Starfleet Officers on hand in case of emergency.
The cadets are in for a nasty shock however when the Starbase suddenly comes under attack from an unknown force, forcing them to flee the sabotaged starbase, and escape onto a unknown class of starship, under the name of...Ryvius.

WHY DO YOU HAVE CREDITS AS A FORM OF MONEY?
Because the world isn't perfect, even in Star Trek.
Dispite what Picard said in First Contact, there's always going to be some people who want more then others.
There are examples of starfleet officer's using credits and so on however. Uhura brought a tribble for ten Credits in "the trouble with tribbles" and Dr. Crusher brought a roll of cloth and told the seller to "Charge it to Beverly
Crusher, Chief Medical Officer, USS Enterprise." To me this indicates that Starfleet Officers are given some form or currency to use at thier leisure.

YOU ORIGINALLY HAD THE MAIN CHARACTER'S NAME AS DANIEL DEARING. WHY DID YOU CHANGE IT?
Seeing I haven't gotten any reviews for the fic, I thought this might be because people thjought I had a lack of imagination because I'd named the main character after me. I renamed him Daniel Wayneright after a character from another story I wrote, This way I'd only have to replace the last name instead of the entire name.

WHY ARE YOU USING A DEFIANT CLASS WARSHIP AS A TRANSPORT SHIP?
By 2389, Many of the Federation's enemies had been subdued. The Borg was no more, the Dominon had been defeated, etc. The Eclipse itself was considered a relic, a ship better suited for times of war, rather then times of peace. As such, it was reconfigured to be a Training vessel for Starbase Delta. It was only used as a transport for cadets for conveinence (Save fuel or something like that)

AREN'T DANIEL AND KURT A BIT YOUNG TO BE  SECOND AND FIRST YEARS?
Although almost all characters in Star Trek who we've seen join Starfleet Academy have been 18, Wesley Crusher was actually 15 when he first took the entry exam. As such, in my book, that means that someone can join the Academy between 15 to 18, possibly more, years of age (Much like the Navy of today). This means that Daniel joined when he was seventeen, making him a second year, while Kurt joined at the same age a year later.
